Bewildered, Yet Englightened

by Tashan   Apr 22, 2004

How do I know if it's an illusion,
this image I see before me
Is it a focus, an angle of eye
That draws the picture clearly?

If it is something not meant for my eyes,
Then take it away from me
But if it is destined to be in my view,
Then help me to know what I see.

Show me how to understand its force
For I am unaware
I think I know, but not quite sure
I feel that something is there

Is it a light, an abstract shape,
A form of something unreal
Is it of nature, some thing of the world
I know not what I feel.

I'm breaking down as I build up
There are many answers I need
So many signs appearing ahead,
That I'm learning so well to read

I'm confident I'd understand
If someone explained it well
If it's a secret, my word I'll give
There isn't a soul I'd tell

So tell me of this image I see
And help me figure it out
The answers lie ahead of me
I haven't a single doubt.
