Alone and cold

I was so angry at you for not calling
I was so angry at you for not coming by
I was so angry at you for not say i love when you left

I went to bed angry at you
I went to bed mad as heck
I went to bed saying i would never talk to you again

but when i woke up the next day my aunt had something to say
She looked at me as though she didn't know what to day
She took a deep breath
She held my hand tight
She smiled a weak smiled and said

"Angel i don't want to tell you this
I don't know where to start
I'm sorry you have to hear this
But James was hurt last night
A car hit him head on
he lost his fight to live honey
today he is gone"

I looked at her and started to laugh
I looked at her and asked "Your joking right?"
I looked at her and saw those tears
I looked at her and saw her shaking her head

I started to scream
I started to cry
I shook my head and said "I'm sorry for being mad at him"
I cried and cried till i couldn't cry anymore

Later that night i sat in a cold dark corner and cried even more
I couldn't believe you where gone
I couldn't believe you had left me here

My heart was already small
