Family can be so close yet so far apart.
They're suppose to be who you can count on.
They're suppose to be who love you,
Some families just dont seem to know the meaning.
Meaning of family is a Unit,
A bond that is unbroken,
Suppose to be Unconditional,
Morals and Values weve learned, or learn on our own.
But do we keep them?
Family I think are the people we can count on,
The people that have your back through thick or thin.
When it all comes down to it,
Is it just an act? cause they think they have to?
They sometimes seem to be the first to talk you down.
Their actually people that might not even have your been blood line.
Their people that love you no matter what your decisions are.
Their actually people that let you make mistakes.
But are still there to pick you up, not kick you down farther.
Or the first to be at your doorstep to rub it in.
Their people that let u no they love you and make u feel love,
not make you think maybe? maybe not?
People that dont choose sides or whos better then one not the other.
It use to be blood thicker than water, but ur lucky if they offer you a glass now.
It all comes down to, family is who u know love you when your wrong or right.
You can see them miles and years away and still feel like you havent missed a beat.
Its all UNCONDITIONAL love, theres not to much of it anymore.
But I have lots so I guess im one of the few.
