Looking Beyond the Mountains

by Tashan   Apr 22, 2004

Looking beyond the mountains,
You'll see a world of features.
Many people, places, and things
Along with trees and creatures.

The Sun during the day and the moon during the night,
Both in their ways, they shine a bright light.
The light draws a path for us to walk down,
It takes us through life, every country, city, and town.

The distance seems endless looking straight ahead,
But somehow we reach the points to which we are led.
We often find that when nature takes its course,
Our moods seem to change with an empowered force.

Like a stream in the breeze that gently flows,
We drift through a life, which no one knows.
We hope that we will someday find,
The things that we never should have left behind

Between the blue sky and the green floor
There lies a lifetime, which we've never seen before.
To miss out on life may as well be a crime,
We have to go on, taking one step at a time.

So look beyond the mountains,
And you'll see what I mean
Just go to the top and let out a scream.
You might understand life a little bit more,
You'll realize then, that YOU can score!!!
