You Sold Your Soul

by xoxShorteexox   Jun 23, 2007

Satan said he could make you a deal,
a trade for a trade; an eye for an eye,
he said he'd make the pain vanish,
for your unique soul and your belief.

Your first thoughts are it's all fake,
but what if it was really coming true,
he could just make it all disappear,
would you trade your soul for that?

Give up all your accomplishments,
just for the pain of sorrow to disappear,
would he keep his promise or lie for your soul,
would you trade everything for no pain at all?

Without the pain of life; would it be worth it,
your soul; your belief given to Satan,
for no pain in this world; for no sorrow,
would you give it all up; just for that?

Give up all your progress; your goals,
for the heartache and lies to disappear,
give up on your morals and your pride,
for you've just signed the contract.

You sold your soul and belief to the Devil,
it isn't really sinking in yet; or is it sinking in,
you just let everything in life go; with no remorse,
he just took everything away; you're going to hell.

You gave it all up; for no pain, sorrow, or regret,
you've lost all the things that make us strong in life,
you'd sold your soul to the devil; there's no turning back,
your morals and remorse are completely gone forever.

So now where to go from here; you're only headed down,
you've lost yourself to the devil himself; you're no one at all,
you've let all your goals and accomplish count for nothing,
so now if the devil truly came for you; would you sign it too?
