Illuminated Star

Effulgent star, May I make a wish?
For my heart and soul to be full of bliss.
I know this is far too much to ask for,
I just pray for someone to unlock this door.

Lucid star, Why do I not understand
Why God can watch us as we fall hand-in-hand.
Is he pointing and chucking at what we say?
Is he helping us out in his own special way?

Luminous star staring down at me,
Why is it that I find it hard to breathe?
This atmosphere so thick, surrounding me.
Trapped in a corner where nobody can see.

Moonlit star, How I love him so,
Though I tell myself that he cannot know.
My hearts been broken to many times,
No longer do I want to love, Leave me behind.

    This one's breath-taking .. iloved it .. i cant read your verses -->they speak to me<-- its amazing how this piece is penned.. i loved this poem.. but this little verse jst stands out for me..
