Lost in solemn reverie, By dungeonbat (ts)
---
Abandoned in tenebrous dream, never to
awaken you grasp my hand as you felt your
last, aspirant sigh
---
Caressed with frailty-woe, you spoke to me in
song, sad and yet so beautiful
---
So lovely, yet so alone, your hand I held in
mine for sorrow never rests in the wake of death
---
There I stood, alive with grief, lost in solemn
reverie-upon your deathbed
---
No promise of rebirth, just your remains...
---
I closed your eyes for one last time, remembering
the brighter days, forever out of reach
---
The setting sun sheds little warmth upon my
grieving heart
---
So cold, my trance, grips life for one final breath,
these hands, lifeless, set free from all this misery
---
I arise and follow you... The veil of eternity ends
and we are whole again...
---
For there is no more reminisce of dying laughter,
echo's of silent cries...
---
Nor lamenting depth of grave, that separates us anymore
---
doomed till death
