I'm Finally Stopping

I'm finally stopping,
stopping the cutting.
I put up the knife,
and it's in hiding.

Self harm is not the answer,
it is the wrong way to go.
It just leaves marks and scars,
all along the broken road.

The broken road of life,
will really bring you down.
But if you listen to God,
he will give you sound.

Your body is God's temple,
so cutting it is cutting him.
He sent his one and only son to die,
he's gone out on a limb.

The blood is God's,
but so is the flesh.
You belong to him,
your body and his mesh.

God I love you,
and I know you love me.
