A brilliant friendship
Lost for so long
Gone forever and ever
In the whispering of the winds.

You said goodbye
I turned away
Thinking to myself
"Why does it have to end today?"

The tables have turned
The winds have changed
Why is everything different?
Why can't it stay the same?

You are the reason I am here
You gave me my confidence
You were a friend
But then... you left...

This poem is for you
Written in my pen
You were my story's ending
The one I used to call friend.
