October 28th

by SweetDreamz   Jun 24, 2007

The moon is out tonight
Can you see it too?
It hides behind he clouds
Can can you see whats true?

My eyes are filled with teas
Its the same old story tonight
Alone the darkness consumes me
And my hopes have taken flight

I cannot see the stars
Their light choked by mist
Though the moon holds enough
To luminate my wrists

I can see the scars
That do not wish to fade
They still display the red
From the last encounter with the blade

They are symbolic of the pain
And agony within
So terribly overwhelming
That I show it on my skin

Should I cut again?
The pain is strong tonight
Another battle scar
From this long and painful fight

You aren't here tonight
Should I cut once more?
Again, again and again
The blood will hit the floor!
Again, again and again
The blood will spill and pour.

I am not well tinight
My blood and tears will flow
But the moon is out this night
To watch my sadness grow

Your smile will not come
As I continue to lose the fight
October 28th
The moon was out tonight...
