Broken man

What becomes of the broken hearted?
Do we wish to be perfect?
Never to be parted?
Abide in love with no conflict.
But what happens when we want to give in?
Surrender to our mind,
Which is considered a deadly sin?
By breaking this selfish bind.
Breaking my own heart,
Knowing we were going to be apart.
Love consists of falling,
Then being caught.
Not trying,
Then being taught.
So what becomes of the broken hearted?
