You

by David Rances   Jun 24, 2007

As I sit here in the blowing wind
I think about you and wonder:
Why is it that I can't remove you from my mind
And wish that our meeting had been nothing but a blunder.

You used to be nothing to me
But now I don't want you to disappear
My emotions are running wild
Yet one thing is clear.

You unconsciously stole my heart
And I want to get it back
But moving on without you
My life will be nothing but an act.

Words that was easy to joke around with
But hard to be sober about
The words "I Love You"
To you I want to shout

I see now the mistake I made
Ignoring you and denying my emotion
I took you for granted
Not caring about your affection

For once I will say the truth
And let my heart take the lead
My love for you has grown
And you are all I need

You are the sunshine of my life
The one that makes me real
You make me cry when you're gone
And I feel like I can never heal.

Now I wish I could go back in time
And undo all my mistakes
If you can give me another chance
Because without you my heart aches.
