The love of my life

The love of my life,
is lying on the floor
Blood is dripping from his wound,
this has never happened before.

They say he's dead,
I start to cry.
How did this happen?
Why did he have to die?

Now he's gone
and he wont come back to me.
It wasn't my fault,
that I saw the danger, he didn't see.

I loved him
and there was nothing I could do,
but to you, my love:
I miss you.
