Round and round

by beth   Jun 24, 2007

Round and round and up and down,
ill make you squirm in a way you never have before.
delicate strokes, caressing touches,
no one to hear you moan or scream,
repetitive stimulating within the very heart of your passionate body

i know your hands can only imitate like a puppeteer
my hands are only mine
I'm sure where ever they lay they give you comfort in this thick atmosphere
heavy breathing adding only to the tension of the moment,
and how long that until the thresh hold moment holds

the speed the intensity the caressing touch reaching unimaginable ranges,
almost not enough to hold yourself there in the moment of it all,
as you struggle to grip the chair,
you hope to god that if you let go that it wont just all be a dream,

but even times like these have to end,
as life goes on and everything else slips away
you will remember these times
and you will realize
it wasn't the dramatic moments, the ones everyone talk about at the time

its the smaller things that you will remember
the subtle smaller moments that will stick by you
and just remember never take these times for granted
because one day when you look back on it all
you may just realize how much those times meant
and how much you have come to regret
not taking that little bit of extra time to just enjoy the life that you have.

That is the single most effecting poem ive ever read. It actually made me cry, because it's so true, and it hit me like a slap in the face (a very well written slap in the face). So thanks for writing this, its really amazing.
