Jealousy

by xoxShorteexox   Jun 25, 2007

I've committed a crime against myself,
the only act I've ever committed,
the act of jealousy of another,
the green giant that eats at me.

Tears away every ounce of happiness,
my act of jealousy; cost me someone dear,
I committed this act against myself,
the green giant has had it's way with me.

This act may have hurt someone else,
but it mostly ripped apart myself,
as another part of me is torn again,
I hear jealousy sickening call.

Jealousy took everything I believed I was,
every dream, every smile; vainished into thin air,
I'm consumed by jealousy's sinful song of greed,
this will be the only act I committ against myself.
