Sacrafice

Life is funny.
Funny ha-ha or funny weird?
This I'm not entirely sure.
Is this reality feared?

Do we joke to hide,
Dream to fall,
Fight for everything,
To loose it all?

Fight for peace.
A slight contradiction wouldn't you say?
I'm having a bad life,
Get out of the way.

We rest in the shallows,
Of surrounding minds,
Smash their unrecognized despair.
Must we abide?

The 'intelligent race'.
Are you Ill?
We have no love,
But that to kill.

To make this a joke,
To insult and swear.
Profanity.
Who really cares?

My sweet how incomplete we are.
The bells of bombs ringing,
The fireworks of judgmental passion
Bleeding hearts stinging.

I am a hero.
I took lives and tortured many for those arrogant enough to view life as
No more than a market where innocent lives bring profit.
These shoes are Italian, they're worth more than your life.
-Lest we forget.

My thoughts exactly. I am Australian.
I've never really thought about things like anzac day untill now and although I have empathy for those lost at war I have a passionate hate for the praise soldiers still receive. There are many un recognised heros doing more good in the world than FIGHTING FOR PEACE ever could.
War has always been about economics. Our society is honestly that shallow that we are willing to bargin with lives.
    I despise it.

    Thnx for your comments!
