If And Then

This poem kind of fits in with another one called She's Forgotten. I guess you could call it a second part, but idk.

If passion was meant to be seen,
then she was blind from love.
if every word was meant to be heard,
then she was deaf of all words.
if all these feelings were meant to consume her,
then she was numb; heartless; careless.

If compassion was meant to save her,
then she was already far from lost.
If the truth was meant to kill her,
then she was already dead.
If pain was meant to destory her,
then she was already a train wreck.

If she was meant to be loved,
then she was skipped over.
If she was meant to have friends,
then she made them disappear.
If she was meant to be more than this,
she wasn't going to reach that step.
