Fading for forgiveness

by Naerwen   Jun 29, 2007

She is fading...
Where to ?

All who wish to find her,
Look for a cinder pile,
Under red wilted petals,
An ashen purple heart,
Scattered beads fade to Grey

A tattered rope engraved Be mine

She wanted to prove,
That she even had it at all

A relentless pace,
That left her as nothing,
The expected expectation,
With only moments of glory,
Wasn't quite enough

She started fading,
When memories came together,
For a long awaited anniversary

Racked with heavy guilt,
A solemn debt to pay,
To this overwhelming shame

My princess, wipe away your tears,
It is time to forgive.

*just an initial lay out of a poem or several, delving into the idea of forgiveness, what that means, what someone might go through to avoid or address this, it is a precious thing, forgiveness, if one if willing to accept or give*
