Deadly Silence

by Mezmeryz   Jun 29, 2007

Talking on the phone,
Denying everything I said.
But you couldn't control your tone,
While I was crying on my bed.

You joined in with the rest,
I could tell you were lying.
Admitting would have been best,
Couldn't fool me that you were crying.

Then you said the words,
That I didn't want to hear.
'When you've left, you're forgotten',
That was my most painful inmost fear.

Reminiscing back to the times,
That we all spent together
When we stood by each other,
No matter what the weather.

On your end of the line,
You continued talking still.
Like your words did not affect me,
But they had taken away my will.

Talking on the phone.
I never heard what else you said,
Droning; deadly silence,
It took just a moment;
For my world to be torn to shreds.

Its bloody true aswell :'(
