Everlasting

by hippiehxc   Jun 29, 2007

All the pain faded into the past, but yet it's still there.
It echos in the soul of the young girl to whom he promised his heart.
Tragedy occurs with frequent repetition in her existence.
She waits for it to come, just as it has, so many times before, yet nothing else but him matters.
He made a promise, of which he shall keep.
He is the girl's light in her realm of so much darkness.
He is the one light that has never dimmed out.
Forever it shall be bright.
for the eternal flame of young love never dies.
He promised her his person as a whole, just as so many before him.
But he's something different.
He facade is down, yet he still loves her, just as he had before.
He never leaves.
A myriad of people gave their hearts to this girl, in which she gave them hers in return.
But there was only one true taker.
All the others were just a sea of pondering jokers.
Debating non-stop on whether she was worth the waste of their oh so precious time.
One stood out.
He took upon himself the responsibility of this young girl's heart.
It shall never be broken again.

She couldn't have found anyone better.

Their love is everlasting.

What a beautiful love poem. Thats usually how it happens - The One comes a long and you're struck by how there is something so different with this one, he's unlike the rest! You've captured that feeling so well. Well done.
