Mum Hits the Bottle with all of My heart

by Kendall   Jun 29, 2007

"But I miss you," she sobbed

"I'm sorry," I choke,
"But I won't live in that Hell you call life."

"I love you," she wept, and I felt the sting,
and the tears spilt from over my eyes.

"I thought it'd be good," she pleaded to me,
"and I get so lonely, ya know?
I want to be there. Just like before?
When you could call me a Mother."

"I'm sorry," I whisper,
"but I can't, I can't,"

"I'm sorry. I love you.
I miss you"

Someone stab me in the heart
These days,I cannot trust myself
I cannot trust the world these days
These days you cry alone with me
on the other side of the world

a few towns away from me

Someone shake me from this
waking nightmare
I'm too scared to close my eyes
I'm too scared to open them

Someone save you from yourself
a coward in my suit of armor
a hollow heart of love you trust

I can't.
I will.
I won't.
I'll try.
