Life and love

Sometimes life is unfair
and brings things we can't explain
all we can do is have faith
and hope we make it through the pain

we loose track of days
and loose count of all the tears
we don't know what to do
and being alone is one of our greatest fears

we don't talk about it
cause it makes us feel weak inside
we know people wold judge us
if they knew how much we've cried

we try to make sense of it all
but the truth is we never will
and as time goes on
it gets harder to tell others how we feel

the truth is all we want
is for everything to be okay
but it seems like the dream
gets further away everyday

we don't know who to trust anymore
cause the world is full of lies
just when we get close to someone
they leave without good-byes

we try to move on
but it's hard to know what to do
we wonder when things are going to change
and get better, cause they're going to

It just takes time
and it's very hard to wait
we have no idea what the future holds
we're just depending on fate

we search forever it seems
for a shoulder to lean on
and just when we get comfortable
we realize hat shoulder is gone

all I have to say
is that you can lean on me
and just remember
where ever you are is where I want to be
