Hiding love

by Mr Ransley   Jun 30, 2007

If only we could be seen together
No matter how cold the weather
Our love standing up with pride
Only to be lowered when we get back to real life

Our bodies entwining with anticipated lust
Making plans that may turn to dust
One thing remains out of our time
Knowing I am yours and you are mine

Your beauty is constant and true
We are trapped and lost not knowing what to do
One day you and I both know
Our feelings will be open and allowed to grow

While the clouds give a disapproving pool
The temperature lower to a nimble cool
When the rain falls onto the longest mile
I stay safe and warm in the glow of your smile.

So if the end draws near
I will hold you dear
For it is you I love
Knowing you love me
Is enough for me to hold
Then together love till we grow old.
