As Each Hour Passes

by Ducky Ramone   Jun 30, 2007

Am I important to you at all?
is it a waste of time waiting for your call?
I know it's not coming, I can't help but wait,
I wait until the sun goes down, until it gets too late,
I've repeated this process too many damn times,
too many times it hurts, so I'm writing all these damn rhymes,
I'm sick of making plans with you, my hopes get up too high,
as each hour passes I sigh,
it just hurts so much, you know?
maybe it's getting time that I should let you go,
I'm sick of telling people we can't hang out cuz I had plans with you,
you let me down yet again and I don't know what to do,
there's a lump in my throat, I'm trying not to cry,
I just wish that at least once, you'd try.

Hey, great poem, I felt/feel that exact same way with a girl I used to/do like, the one writing you commented actually. My opinion is people like that never change, thanks for the comment on mine, all my poems could be or are songs. :) ~Zach
