Once Again

by Avrii Monrielle   Jun 30, 2007

You played me like a fool,
Toyed with my own heart,
Always kept your cool,
And helped me fall apart.

Called my drawings nice,
Laughed with me at ease,
Wished that you could write,
As splendidly as me.

As I touched your hand,
And you played along,
I thought you'd understand,
But I thought you wrong.

January rocked,
You washed away my pain,
I thought my heart was locked,
But it fell down like the rain.

I tripped over my feet,
Once I caught you staring,
I thought that you were neat,
A friend so kind and caring.

But you toyed with my heart,
And thought this was a game,
Though, now that we're apart,
Once more, it's all the same...
