Hands

by Dan   Jun 30, 2007

Hands which existed in darkness,
Hands which were bound unjustly.

Hands which created light,
Shivered under the lash.

Hands which gave birth to sky,
Trembled under a tree.

Hands which rose up land,
Hands were relieved by a friend.

Hands which grew the plants,
Hands laid on the tree.

Hands which threw stars upon the night,
Hands pierced with pins.

Hands which brought forth life, brought forth me,
Hand which withered and died, for me.
