Sweet Sunlight.

Sweet Sunlight

Even when I walk through the dark valley of death,
I will not be afraid for sweet sunlight,
has borrowed my heart and made it right.
Taken my tears and wiped them away.
Taken my fears and sent them affray.

Living deep within my unworthy heart,
lies a God that shall never depart.
There to make my life okay,
there to never go away.

Simple features light up on my face,
as I soon began to slowly erase
the pain that came to me yesterday..
The sadness I thought would never go away.

And, even when I walk through the dark valley of death
my sweet sunlight will lend me power to breathe,
and take the hunger that shouldn't cease.
My sweet sunlight, oh my sweet sunlight..
how thankful I am for such beauty delight.

Taken my fears and sent them affray.
[[It seemed like you added this just because. With much boldness, I would completely take out this line. I mean, the rest are only four so this is just like, "Why?" =/.]]

Hm. This is a very interesting poem. I like the thought of it and I could feel it as if you were really praising the sunlight.
I espcially ADORED the first stanza, save for that one random line.
Beautiful first stanza and not too bad of an ending.

    Sunlight can be quite beautiful
but cant seem to figure out why days- supposed to be holy and nights not
if you stay out to long in the wonderful sun
    you get burned!
and at night .... you dont
but that would be funny if someone got moonburn!
good job expressing how you feel about the big ball of fire!

Ok, well i thought it was very intersting, i like the topic, but your rhyming seemed a little forced in places, and is "affray" a word.

"And, even when I walk through the dark valley of death
my sweet sunlight will lend me power to breathe,
and take the hunger that shouldn't cease.
My sweet sunlight, oh my sweet sunlight..
how thankful I am for such beauty delight. "

    my favorite stanza ^^
it just has a certain meaning to it,
