The End

The End

When I look into your eyes,
Do you know what I see?
I see a story of long ago,
The time of you and me.

Those hazel eyes,
They speak to me.
They're trying to show,
Of when we were young and free.

The time of best friends,
When we were really tight.
You stabbed me in the back,
And we ended in one big fight.

You seemed not to comprehend,
Thought you still had all the might.
But we stopped all the attacks,
That for once was our right.

Then we cried words we couldn't say,
Words known as tears.
We struggled throughout the week,
But washed away all our fears.

I still think of you everyday,
Even though everything is so clear.
We can now take your critique.
We'll keep our friends that are dear.

Goodbye,
This is the end,
The end of this fray.
