On them i cannot rely

My life was going so well
My grades and friends meant everything
But all good things come to an end
I'm so stressed I'm barely breathing

My grades had dropped way down
The makeup piled on
The magazine was like my guide
My respect to myself all gone

One friend borrowed this
Wrecked it and never paid
One friend always lied
Left me alone and betrayed

One friend did not care
Stepped all over me with disgust
One friend found someone else
Broke my trust and left me to rust

I'm sitting here now thinking
What did I see in them at the beginning
We had some pretty good times I cant lie
But this must be good-bye
because either way, on them I cannot rely
