Why do we cry ourselves to sleep every night for weeks?
Why doesn't our heart want to let go of him?
Maybe you are still in love and not quite over him.

Or maybe he isn't over you.
Maybe he's just pretending to like that other girl.
Maybe he wants you back as much as you want him.
Or maybe he really has moved on.
Maybe all those times he said "I love you" were just lies.
Because he's looking at her the way he looked at you.
And they both seem so happy together.
Maybe he's a good lier
Or maybe he's really over you.
Maybe his feelings weren't as strong as yours were.
But no matter what you want to see your best friend happy even though he's not with you anymore.
