AT THE HEART OF IT ALL

by Gary Jurechka   Jul 1, 2007

There is no God or devil
battling for my mortal soul,
nor is it the clash of good and evil,
no,
it is the angst of
the raging conflict between
the realist and the dreamer
that is always ripping me apart inside,
haunting my every moment,
trying to reach some intangible compromise,
even as I quietly
burn
out of control.

Simply beautiful written, unique yet well expressive emotion..."A person who has come into you life has come either to teach you something, or to learn something from you."

    Best wishes.
