The Randomness of Shooting Stars

by Twisted Heart   Jul 1, 2007

From which direction do they come
And when they fall, where do they land
Do stars that shoot across the sky
Get swept inside God's gentle hands

The breeze that chants sweet melodies
Against the moon that glows so bright
Do stars get lost inside the tune
That enchants them through the night

Flicker stars dance in a group
Does one just dance another way
Then shoots across the darkened sky
Much to happy there to stay.

On these I look then make a wish
I lift my face for moon's caress
The tender wind blows through my hair
Then settles gently in my breath.

The randomness of shooting stars
Is still a mystery, I see
But like those stars that shine above
The night's enchanted me.
