A Man Alone

by Nikoshiana   Jul 1, 2007

A man sits alone in silence
Unable to face the days,
Fearing his soul is empty
He is lost in many ways

All thoughts gone from his mind
His concentration fades away,
He is tired, just so tired
Life is worthless he will say.

A man so handsome-one so proud
Now feels so scared so weak
Afraid to face the future
That he sees only as bleak.

From a restless night of sleep
Into another unbearable day,
He prays to God to help him
Or to just take him away.

His heart is thumping pounding
His only wish to die,
A listening angel tells him
It is not his time to fly.

Soon bad days will get better
The his confidence will rise,
Time and love will heal him
Put back the sparkle in his eyes.

The man alone in silence
Will slowly start to see
A path that leads the way back
To the man he used to be.
