Sometimes I feel you there at night,
And I know just how you feel,
Bitterness always clouds the love,
Since you can only watch from above.

To have been your big sister,
How would it feel?
To wipe away your tears,
As beside you I kneel.

To have tickled and fought,
And witnessed your smile,
To have hugged you close,
Just for a while.

I've made a mess of my life,
Maybe you'd have done better,
