Shadow Reaper

Only with thine eyes will you see the reward of the wicked.
But do you really think it will be as you first predicted?
Is your vision so pure and are your thoughts unclouded?
Are you in shadow or have you recently just sprouted?

Is your love waxed cold and are your enemies surrounded?
Are you a square peg or have you became totally rounded?
Can you see inside the box and outside the box together?
Are you just a fair weather friend or one in bad weather?

Will the view you have today be the same as tomorrow?
Is your view based on truth or is based on some sorrow?
Has the mote in your eye blinded you in some fashion?
Is it based on egotistically reasons or guided by passion?

Are you so holy that you can not even be approached?
Are you sure that you are not, too beyond reproach?
Do you just gather stones so that you, too can throw?
Can you not just admit that you just really don't know?

Are you just a leaf shaking in the wind that howls?
Does your awareness help you or do you just growl?
Only with thine eyes will you see the reward of the wicked.
But do you really think it will be as you first predicted?

    This is my favorite stanza;

Are you just a leaf shaking in the wind that howls?
Does your awareness help you or do you just growl?
Only with thine eyes will you see the reward of the wicked.
But do you really think it will be as you first predicted?

I love the composure all the way through.
