Blind Shadow

by RainbowSlider   Jul 1, 2007

You have taught me more in your blind vision.
Than in a lifetime I could ever could have envision.
Your careful steps and your shaky wandering ways.
Remind me much of how my life has been these days.

I watch you from a safe distance try to make sense.
You step in a pattern; I couldn't see; I was dense.
You have helped me to understand some things.
I hear your prayers; Your anger is comforting.

I try so hard to help you find your lost way.
But I have no map to help your nighted day.
I am just a wayfarer like you even if not blind.
My shadows are not much help to your kind.

I see that you, too have come here to reside.
You seek home and it affects your lost pride.
I see your struggle and try my best to assist.
Your demon can be too much for me to resist.

Maybe somehow we both can find our lost way.
My sightedness and your unsighted night day.
Together we stumble but can right our path.
We will just have to wait for the aftermath.
