Symphony Of Lies (Sonnet IV)

Symphony Of Lies (Sonnet IV)

I'm here playing a Symphony Of Lies,
why do I hide my true feelings for you?
I sit wiping away tears from my eyes,
knowing everything I said wasn't true.

Nothing but lies, and nothing but deceit,
still I write sonnets to my broken heart,
may it become whole and one day complete,
maybe I can then begin from the start.

I know I loved you, but you never knew,
now I pay for it every single day,
and all the time i wanted to tell you,
but I couldn't think of the words to say.

So I play this sweet Symphony Of Lies,
sitting here writing my final goodbye.

Wow! I don't usually read love poems but I just have to make an exception for this... This poem is beautifully penned... So bittersweet and touching.... And I love every single bit of this poem... Amazing! 5/5!
