Here I sit a weary poet
Who'd verse the world to have you know it
I've found a muse, my muse is you
Cast to silence, here to brew
Among the stars and in the moon
Bound to lose my mind of soon
Lest you hear me,heed my call
Unbend my will to love at all
Here I sit a weary poet
Who'd pen the sky to have you know it
I've found a goddess bound to earth
Who could rob the world of all its worth
With just a glance from angel's guise
Which in each moment I memorize
To see and hear through time and space
To allow it each my dreams to grace
Here I sit a weary poet
Who'd rhyme the seas to have you know it
That all roses of the world, every rose there's ever been
To match your beauty cannot begin
Every verse of all the poets, every poet who ever wrote
Cannot my caring start to note
That every fear you have 's unfounded
For here I sit, by you astounded
