The Demon's Awakening

by Travis   Jul 1, 2007

The men stand so cold,
On this classic winter day.
The snow freshly fallen,
On the rolling white hills.

They stand for the war,
Between heaven and hell.
The earth is the battleground,
And the men choose their sides.

These men have chosen heaven,
To fight this battle with.
For the light from the skies,
Seems to bright to go out.

The demons approach,
Slowly taking their steps,
They newly are woken,
From the long sleep they had.

This sleep was a punishment,
For leaving their God.
The God who had fed them,
And gave them their strength.

They were strong and tough,
Seemingly impossible to fight,
They stood for the battle,
Which soon would spark.

The demons shot down,
Those men on the hill,
And thus this began,
The Demon's Awakening.

Ok I think this is going to be like an intro to a story I'm gonna write. Is it any good?

Ohhh, me likey much. just a few issues.

    These men have chosen heaven,
    To fight this battle with.
For the light from the sk[ie]s,
Seems to bright to go out.<<<that just lost me

    The demons approach,
    Slowly taking their steps,
Newly woken,[idk, it just sounded funky]
From the long sleep they had.

that sleep stanza doesnt really need to be there.
