Walking alone

It feels as if I have walked into something new,
everything I knew is in a different state.
I feel an unfamiliar sensation,
making a feeling of complete loneliness.

I feel my soul inside,
it has been touched.
I feel as if I am someone,
but now everyone is no one.

I am no better than her or him,
I am no better than you.
But I feel as if you don't need to tell me,
tell me what I need to do.

I am who I am,
I will do what I need to do.
I am an angel, a devil, a witch, a goddess.
You cannot tell me who I am.

I need to walk this road alone,
only me and the higher power.
I don't need anyone,
but the air in my lungs a good head on my shoulders and a beating heart.
