Too afraid to cry...she hides the scars of pain...
Given all she's got but yet she's hurt again...
She makes the same mistakes...and I thought that she was smart...
She never uses her brain when it comes to her heart...
So she wonders beyond reality...and pretends she is ok...
She knows she needs help but she is too afraid...
Time and time again...she hurts the ones she loves...
And she hurts herself too because nothing is enough...
So what makes her do this? What makes her reject?
Is it because she knows that she can never be perfect?
Too afraid to stay...she leaves the ones she loves...
Convinced she'll never be deserving...or ever be enough...
Scared into leaving...just the opposite of her Mother...
The resentment still growing...she'll never be a lover...
