Messenger

by GretaInsideOut   Jul 2, 2007

Couples filled with loving lies.
They pretend to withstand the silence.
When they look onto their partner,
The morals are unsaid.
They blame the messenger.
The messenger, the middleman.

Dreary matter of months,
A brother and sister are torn.
Indecisive and unsure,
They blame the messenger.

A lonesome wife,
The bottle her companion,
Cleans her husbands sheets,
The bed in which he cheats.
She'll blame the messenger.

A homeless teen,
Cold and with no love,
A needle his remorse,
His demons he's corrupted.
He'll sit and wonder on his high,
He blames the messenger.

Youths who are lovers,
Wait for dark to love.
They are crossed between lives they want and those they need.
Somehow, they blame the messenger.
