Hello Hate, Goodbye Love

by Wings Of Flames   Jul 2, 2007

Hello Hate, Goodbye Love

Sand shifts in change,
As water ripples stone,
These grains of existence,
Born to be alone,

Flames swallow skin,
Tongues lash and lick,
A dance to the sacrifice,
Scared deep and thick,

Clouds gather in the sky,
That God was to send,
The world on a golden plater,
And wings not to mend,

Broken hands untouched,
In the mist of the dark,
Crimson mouths chapped,
In the night we embark,

Storms rumble lethal,
Destruction on the way,
Bodies lain in rows,
Each prices I did pay.

I liked the second to last phrase the best, the words:'crimson mouths chapped' fit in really good with the poem and really gave a firm idea of what was going on. btw, you might want to change it so : 'plater' is spelled 'platter'. just to tell you.
