Why dont we listen to the unheard voices, revised

by Stephanie Naylor   Jul 2, 2007

They speak a language
a simpleminded mortal could never understand

They scream there terror stories
of their pain and agony

They lye there in there coffins
laden deep in the earth

Where they thrive together
and seek there revenge

Some try to warn us of this overtake
and what is to come

but do we listen
NO

We go along out merry ways
for we cannot hear there deafening cries

Or maybe we choose not to listen to
our fatal outcomes

They try and try
they shriek, they yell

till the day the demons
will feast on our cold limp corpses

Not quite sure I'm getting this poem, although I've never been that good at understanding metaphors.
It's got a very eerie feel to it.
