Interruptions are constant, tantrums galore,
When it was time to do homework,
she was gone, out the door.
The drama was constant, oh her foot fell asleep,
she moaned and she wailed,
the theatrics ran deep,
School was a nightmare, the teachers were lost,
If they only could have seen,
she was worth the cost.
she has always been brighter than most,
And with patience and love,

But what I still must take
from well meaning friends
