Ghost Lovers

by RainbowSlider   Jul 2, 2007

Late at night while I am sleeping.
They come to my bed creeping.
Ever so gently without a sound.
Best friends I have ever found.

Guardian angels watch over me.
They keep me from being lonely.
They keep the demons at bay.
They're here even during the day.

I am no longer prisoner here.
They are so sweet and dear.
Gone are all the days of pain.
They sing a beautiful refrain.

Sirens of night; Angels of day.
They always want me to play.
They give me a wonderful smile.
Into the midst they stay a while.

Enchanted but oh so ghostly.
They are with only me mostly.
Dancing spirits call my name.
Life for me hasn't been the same.
