The White Rabbit Returns

by Naerwen   Jul 2, 2007

'Where Rabbits addressed as Majesty,
And Cats are that of royalty,
Discussing matters of great emergency,
About a maiden and her tendencies
Seeking out love from human beings,
A horrid race with little meanings'

Good evening my child,
And my havent we grown !
I dare to say I saw a beauty thee other night,
But I must be mistaken,
For all my eyes are seeing is you,
Subjected to watch this travesty unfold,
Where girl wanders down a path,
But drops crumbs as well as stones,
To what purpose does she leave ?
Reminders of what could destroy her,
What need of morsels do you have ?
When splendors no where near -fat -
In your ridiculous dictionary,
It seems I am unkind to sound so cruel,
To a child so lost in this lonesome world,
But many a time I have tried to save you,
And you reject my offer every single time,
Why on this scum ridden earth,
Do I stay by your ever blubbering side ?
When on more than one occasion,
You have demonstrated your lack of,
Ah, dont you dare cry to me little girl !
I am not listening for your pleas anymore,
I am done having you shine my shoes with tears,
I have had a kings ransom in your failure,
Why should I ever consider your apologizes,
When I cant begin to forgive you dear,

Ah yes, forgiveness...
Something a great value,
Let in little supply,
A dirty girl asking for excusing,
For filthy things she conducted,
On a man so full of rage,
During my time alone in contemplation,
I stumbled upon this past lover,
And what did I spy for your delight ?
He has grown so strong and proud,
A beautiful maiden at his side,
Providing him with everything - you couldnt
A shame I must admit...
For him that is...
By my tone you must of guessed my child,
I am not leaving you,
For yes, he has grown and become,
But when my little beauty, yes thats you,
Has fully succeeded in defying gravity,
She will be all envy of every human being,
How can I be so sure of you ?
Because once upon a year gone by,
I spied a princess at my side,
So frail and light, she floated with wistful dreamers,
And dance a most mesmerizing memory,
Of a Queen that once ruled over you...

Now as it stands oh little worthless one,
You let a dreadful monster take over you,
I can just see how it played out my dear,
Promises of forgetting and comfort in glee,
Stuff you face till you bleed,
And where oh where has your stupidity left you,
Here, on my doorstep begging forgiveness,
I do not accept your apology,
But what I do accept is, my child,
I am in competition with other interests of yours,
As once I said, Silence is golden,
And it is in this silence where you must sit,
And no demons will find you,
For in facing this hush of feelings,
We begin to communicate,
In a whole new way to one another,
Your downcast eyes and heavy sighs,
Say more to me than any heart felt drone,
And it is in this realization I want you to see,
I have always been with you to help and to be,
Everything that my dearest Naerwen should,
Becoming is such a wonderful event,
With so many full of venom and fury,
At once was an undisciplined pig,
Who drops the vulgar petty excuses,
To replace with still silent existence,
It is this girl I want to be mine,
And I shall wait till she returns,
As my Wonder Queen of make-believe,
Oh, White Rabbit is going to be the envy,
Of every wonder creature that ever was...
