Same Story,,*

You all know the story, right?
Girl falls for a guy she barely knows
He makes her feel like she is special;
Feeds her lies and pretty words

Then he tells her he loves her
She smiles and believes it
Then give it a couple months
He decides they need to quit

She drowns in grief and sorrow
Until someone else comes along
He does the same thing to her
& She doesn't realize what's going on

But when "the one" walks in her life
He is true but she thinks he's lying
He tries so hard to win her heart
But she thinks he'll leave her crying

When she realizes he was "the one"
It's too late to fix her mistake
She ends up hurt all over again
& her bruised heart breaks

See everybody we can never win
No matter what we always get hurt
I guess we might as well be alone
It's better than being pushed in the dirt
