Can I?

by BrokenREALiTy   Jul 2, 2007

Can I love you?
This isn't about wrong or right.
This is whether you want to be,
My day or my night.

Can I kiss you?
I miss what we never had.
If one's never known happiness,
How can one be sad?

Can I hold you?
I wish for what could've been.
You didn't care enough,
When I would've commited sin.

Can I remember you?
I reminisce what was never there.
Here's a simple question:
Why won't you care?

Can I ask you,
Something as simple as this?
Am I allowed to have you,
To love and to miss?

Old poem from like January. So it's rough.
