My Girl

She has long blonde hair,
Eyes shining bright.
She moves so softly,
And so swiftly.

She is the girl,
I long to hold,
The only one,
I really need.

But she's out of reach,
Just so far away from me.
She lives miles away,
And her heart lies far from my grasp.

That girl is so wonderful.
She is so calm,
And so beautiful.
If only I was nearly as perfect...

I doubt she'd ever,
Wanna be with someone like me.
I'm nowhere near like her,
I'm so damn imperfect.

Yet I need her so badly,
I can't just let her go.
Not when she's so great.
Things like that have left before.

I won't let something so beautiful,
Escape from my grasp.
At least not this time,
It won't happen again.

She will be mine...

I hope and I pray,
That she feels like me.
But my heart is doubtful,
But I'll keep my head up...
